  • What can I donate to sell online for event?
    Labels for Good is happy to take you donation on behalf of the organization or individual we are hosting the current event for. We ask that the guidelines here are followed to maximize sales and minimize extra processing. Labels for Good staff will curate assess and post items on the website that meet the standards for resale.
  • What will we accept for donation -
    All our events are customized and unique. In general, we accept New, New with tags and items in lightly worn, or condition you would be able to sell on consignment or to others. Vintage, designer, and others in good condition (over 20 years old). Women’s and Men's Designer clothing items, Shirts, Blouses, Coats, Jackets, Sweaters, Dresses, Jeans, Slacks, Activewear and accessories including Scarves, gloves, ties, purses, jewelry, belts, hats, shoes and the like. Seasonal items sell best IN SEASON but will consider all donations. Please made sure your items are Free of stains, holes, obvious wear like piling, tears, broken or fading. The better condition the items is in, the more the item is worth to donate and the more money possible in a sale for your cause. Fast Fashion is discouraged, and Designer brands and hand-crafted original items are preferred as they have a higher original price point and tend to net more at the event in sales.
  • What is the process to donate?
    All events are unique, and many have their own method of collecting donations. In general, if you have clothing donations you would use the Donate Items here tab, Complete the form and start to pull the items you want to donate, Estimate the number of items and weight and submit to us. Once we received the completed form, we will link you to create a prepaid mailing label to send your donation to Labels for Good for the event through Shippo. You can then drop off your donation box with mailing label to USPS or UPS location during the posted event donation period (first two weeks of event) and we will process, curate, post and sell your donation to benefit the event cause. If you are local to the event within 20 miles, Labels for Good will arrange with you for a pickup. Use the same Tab for Donate Items here and indicate the desire for pick up. Labels for Good will assess if the location is within the 20-mile radius for pick up and contact donors with details and to arrange a time for pick up from e-mail Info@Lablesforgood.com. If you want to donate cash, please use the donate now button which will lead you to a form to designate a dollar amount you wish to donate to the event.
  • Where does the money go?
    The money goes to the cause in focus for the event. Labels for Good is a for profit crowdfunding company offering a service to help causes generate funds through selling of existing items donated from supporters and others online. Labels for Good does the work and the profits go to the cause less a contractual service fee. Your donation will be to the cause. Each cause/entity will provide their own version of donation receipt for tax purposes if requested. That will be posted and linked per event.
  • What if I do not see my item online and I sent it in or it did not sell?
    There is a chance that the window for processing and posting for the event past when your donation arrived, the item did not meet the requirement for items curated to post for the event. All donations made are the property of the cause once donated and received with Labels for Good to process. Any donated items that are not used or sold are offered to return to the cause after the event or donated on their behalf. Labels for Good does not own the rights to the donated items nor will Labels for Good return any donation back to donors.
  • Can I set the price of an item I donate?
    Part of the curating process is the inspection and curating of the donations for sale. LFG has a staff of experts to research and assess the value and selling price for donated items. Each items goes through a 12 points inspection process prior to posted that item online. Prices are set in our "Buy now" area where prices start at reserve in our Auction area for specialty items depending on event donations collected.
  • What if I want to have Labels for Good host and service and event for a cause I am associated with?
    Please subscribe and contact Labels for Good and we will be happy to discuss options, availability, and process to utilize our crowdfunding service for your cause.

  • Can I return items?
    Items purchased during the event can be returned for credit up to 10 days from the end of the fundraising event. As each event has a unique duration we have finite dates they are active on the site. Due to this, we are unable to refund for returns beyond 10 business days as Labels for Good and the focus organization of the event will have completed the donations and accounting for the focus of the event. We do our best to give the most information and accurate information possible for sale/donation.
